Missing Clothes

I am Mom & I am to the rescue. In case you did not know, when you become a Mom you go on missing clothes duty. It’s one of those things that no one tells you, even though you have faint memories of it as a child. You faintly recall the super sleuth stylings of your Mom on clothing detail, when you were running 10 minutes late to school.

Well today Hubby & Mr. J are off to the last school Mass. Mr. J is actually done with school but there is a special event that Hubby should be present for. We’d all like to go but Mamacita is not feeling herself right now. Anyway, in the process of getting ready we discover that somehow Mr. J has no clothes again. I am not sure how he manages to “lose” his clothes on a regular basis but it never fails. This time it was pants, pants that were laid out moments before. Usually it is socks, occasionally he is missing all clean underwear even though they have been folded & put away the night before. I am wondering if perhaps the missing clothes are a plot? A plan to slowly drive me off my rocker. Since at least one or more children are missing what was just in front of them.

In the end, it’s momma who finds the pants & realizes Mr. J wants to wear a shirt that is 2 sizes to small. Two clothing crises averted. Now to find clothes for me, I am wondering if I can yell for my Mom when I realize I am missing any pants that actually fit.
