Mr. J & Mr. G have become pirate obsessed. Treasure seeking, sword wielding, scallywags on the open seas.
At the zoo the other day, they played pirates with all the gusto that a child could. Other children were soon caught up in the excitement of the tall tale of Pirate Blackbeard. I’m not sure their mothers were as excited.
Over dinner, Mr. G referred to everyone as Matey & and wanted to be talked to only in pirate language. However, then talk turned to wondering what a poop deck was & giggles soon made any talking almost impossible.
Friday at Mamacita & D-man’s well visits tongue depressors became pirate swords. The table in the room almost became the plank. That one I was not so excited about.
And today after getting to sleep in I awoke to see this mass chaos of open Lego bins:

All so that this could be built. I was expecting something bigger, especially after seeing all the small bins open. According to the boys these are skeleton spaceship pirates.

I’m expecting that today will be filled with more pirate adventures, arghh me matey!

My boys pick a new theme every day, though pirates have been running through the themes a lot lately.
And of course, you have to take ALL the legos out to build Anything.
