While getting your cup of coffee to start off your day because you are unable to function with out and you need to pack for a trip the following can happen:
- Everyone can & will cry at the same time
- Crying can occur for no reason or for any reason, take your pick
- During this time you will be attempting to take out the trash because you do not want to come home to a house full of stink rot from your trash can
- The coffee grounds will spill everywhere, on the floor you just cleaned
- Someone will walk through the coffee grounds spreading them all over, into the living room no less
- You will then knock over rest of the trash trying to stop this from happening
- Someone will decide that is the perfect time to put a package of cheese in your face & ask for a slice
- You will not be amused
- You then realize you forgot to print off an important document
- And you still are not packed
- Hubby will ask you 3 times in a row why you are not packed
- You are now at least a full hour behind schedule
- You start to pack & realize you have no idea what to wear
- Kids will ask 500 times if it is time to go yet
- It is NOT time to go yet, but they all have shoes on & are ready
- You are NOT ready
- Hubby will again ask why you are not packed
- Printer eats your document, not once but twice
- You still have not actually had any coffee
- You then will consider joining in the crying, while eating a piece of cheese, and dancing in coffee grounds on the floor asking if it’s time to go yet & why didn’t Hubby just pack for you because OH HECK WHY THE HELL NOT??

Sounds like a typical day….especially when you have things to do.
It’s so typical when trying to get away and watching the kids. I wrote a post about my own child stepping in coffee grinds and then running through my house! It NEVER FAILS! Have a great trip…

What IS IT with coffee grounds? They never end up where you want them….
Oh, yeah, I’ve been there. Except the packing part. My husband is the last minute packer in this household; while, I do everything else. Stupid trips.
