There are lots of reasons I am a Catholic, the toughness of the Sisters is an added bonus.
Nuns help police grab robbery suspect
Best part of the story:
They saw the man was carrying a shotgun, boxing gloves and other items. When they began to question him, the man ran into nearby woods.
One of the nuns gave chase, wearing her ankle-length habit and flip-flops.
The dude had an arsenal of weapons, but she STILL chased after him full habit & all. I am guessing he thought he was dealing with amateurs, not tough as nails Nuns. Made me think of how Pope John Paul II’s assassin Ağca was grabbed, after his failed attempt, by a Nun in the crowd.
The lesson here is don’t mess with Nuns. I believe my husband learned that in grade school.

I had 14 years of good ole’ Catholic schooling.
That includes both kindergarten and pre-school.

Ha ha…thanks for reminding me of my early childhood. Kindergarten through 5th grade was spent in Catholic school. You don’t mess with the nuns.

Any Catholic worth his/her salt is very wary of nuns, for good reasaon.
I’m a quasi-Catholic, and it sure is nice to know that the sisters are out there kicking ass and fighting the bad guys. The Pope must be proud!
