Best Recipe for Roasted Corn on the Cob

by beth on September 9, 2009

We have done grill roasted corn on the cob a few times this summer. It’s a favorite of the kids and it is a healthy side item. The corn has a great flavor to it. It’s super easy to do & changes up how you serve corn.

All you need are ears of corn & a grill.

But no worries, because on the inside you will have beautiful corn. I love to butter, salt, & pepper mine. My butter actually melted off mine onto the plate, because it was fresh from the grill when I tried to apply it. Nothing better than fresh roasted corn. Some people like to also rub a little garlic on their corn ears too.

I also don’t recommend letting it soak in water with the husks pulled back before removing corn silk if you want roasted corn. That method really gives you a steamed corn, not a roasted corn. Steamed can also be a nice change up but it won’t be truly roasted.
