I built my header with paint.net and free scraps I found on the web! I did recently upgrade to photoshop elements 7 - that was about as much as I could talk the hubbster into! We do, however, have a kick hinder DSLR Nikon D80 with a bag o' lenses. I think the camera and the photographer make the picture - not the software! Glad you found something easy to use and FREE!

I use a Nikon D70 (absolutely love it), but I've heard that a lot of people like the Canon Rebel as well. If you're considering a SLR, I'd go with one of those two - personally, I like the Nikon because it was extremely easy to learn, and the lenses are interchangable (so if you get another nikon SLR down the road you can use the same lenses...my dad has the D200 and it takes the same lenses, so i always (steal) borrow his).

That said...I love my little digital camera. I don't always want to drag around the big boy, so my little guy is great for candids and on-the-go shots.

Picasa isn't a bad free photo program either. I use both that and Adobe (when I have the time...one of these days I'm going to have to put up some of my good photos). just type in Picasa into google - i think google makes it.

Yea. The people at the camera store know me by name.

Thanks for this! I hope my blog will be ready soon, and when it is, I will certainly need something like this. Do you know if it works for a Mac? Maybe I better look into it! Thanks- your pics look great!

I am so gonna try it! I have Corel Paint Shop Pro and HP Image Zone and I have spent the last 3 days trying to fix a photo! SCREAMING! Could you hear me all the way there! I want Adobe some day 2. Hey Christmas is coming. LOL Anyway I think you did an awesome job on that pic. I thought the first one was a sandy beach, ok even with my glasses I can't see. But the 2nd one awesome!
