I Love Honey!

by beth on September 20, 2009

I am not talking about my Honey.  All though I do love him a lot.  Whether he is sporting a polo shirt and khakis or green hair and earrings, I love my husband.  However, this post is not about my Honey but honey as in the deliciously sweet nectar from bees that I adore.  I use in it my tea, my yogurt, and on my chicken just to name a few.  I also think it’s delish on homemade biscuits, apples, and with peanut butter on bread.

And because I am a self-professed nerd I was so excited when I heard September is National Honey month here in the States while searching online.  Not sure honey needed it’s own month but hey it’s still cool. An entire month to the honey, a gift from God.

I was even more excited when I saw this new Honey Pot & Silicone Dipper from Le Creuset.  I now have my eyes on it and think it might look great here in amidst my confusion.   What do you think?

It reminds me of the year Mr. G was a honey pot for his first Halloween. He was just the cutest honey pot around if you ask me. A very tired but phenomenally cute “hunny” pot from Winnie the Pooh.

I LOVE HONEY! There used to be a cough drop by Pine Brothers that I would buy in mass because I loved the taste of them. Guess I was the only one, because they went out of business!

Cute costume!!

Honey…oh sweet necter of the gods….

It’s about all I ever put on my toast, and I love it in my tea.

And waffles. And biscuits. And I use it to sweeten when I’m baking (instead of sugar). And oh yea, it’s a phenomenal glaze.

AND IT NEVER GOES BAD. absolutely fantastic stuff.

BWelch: I think it only comes in this color or white. I haven’t seen it in blue.

I’m a huge honey fan too. Husband bought me a honey pot and wooden dipper for Christmas last year AND he always keeps it filled :)
