I saw this Nativity Triptych and thought it was so beautiful. I can just picture it centered on a mantel or maybe a hutch. I love the wood and the warm colors that are used. I can get lost in this style of art, there is a simplicity expressed through its ornate beauty. It’s this beautiful contradiction that I am drawn into, I can’t explain it. Except that I wish more art was like this. Because I can get lost in the art museum taking in the older art that this triptych calls to my mind.
