Another Budding Photographer

Mamacita’s joining the ranks of Mr. J & Mr. G. I can’t wait to see what she comes up. But I am a little worried. You see the reason why is that I’m taking this picture of her. That means she had the camera pointed toward me. I may have to start wearing make-up around the house & actually combing my hair in the morning.

Ha! It’s true after looking a selection of her photos she has taken a lot of her finger. Although some of the shots looking up at us made me wish she’d remember to put the finger back ;)

The location of the finger made me laugh!

I know. Best part is she thinks that’s where her finger should go.

I was going to point out her finger too and the fact you may have nothing to worry about. ;-) But Messy beat me. Rrr.

Wonderful motivation to get ready in the morning. I might try this to stop the sweat pants+bad hair+no make up combo ;o)

You know it might just be the motivation I need too. Man it’s easy to hang out in yoga pants hair in a ponytail with no makeup.

I know it’s a 50/50 on the kid photos. The ones pointed up never are good ones, I look like a giant, but sometimes they do have some really sweet ones. Especially the older kids, but I think that’s because they have more experience pointing the camera. I even feature a few here in posts.

Well that’s the good thing about digital cameras. When she’s sleeping you can get the camera and delete all photos you don’t want anyone to see.

Hehe, I like the way your thinking. Sneak delete moves would help a ton.

This is such a cute photo, I’m sure she’ll love this as a memory, although hopefully her technique will improve. However you don’t have to much to worry about while she’s taking shots with her finger over the lens.

Digital cameras are great for learning, I think so many kids are going to be great photographers when they are older and will mock our current efforts in the future.

I think that’s so true (not just about her finger making my life easier,LOL) but on the great ability they will have with photography. I can’t remember having so much access to these creative outlets as a kid.

I gave my daughter a camera when she was 7 years old. She is 8 now and has developed into a pretty good photographer.

Isn’t it cool to see how they develop as creative beings? And so quickly, I mean I’ve been taking pictures forever & when I see kids it seems like kids get *it* innately (that creative spark). I sometimes struggle to see that innate creative spark.
