A Year Ago I Had Cankles

by beth on March 15, 2010

We had our family movie night on Saturday, we all hung out in the living room & finally were able to watch Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. It was great. I love seeing the kids hanging out together with their blankets & cuddling up. Hubby took this picture of D-man laying on Mr. G’s blanket trying to be all cute. As we looked at him laying with the “big” kids we realized that he’s going to be one soon. This time one year ago I was waddling around, with my giant swollen cankles & thinking he’d NEVER be born!!  Now he’s rolling around on the floor acting like an adorable fool with his siblings. And I gotta say it’s pretty awesome.

Was that not a cute movie?? I loved it. Steve cracked me up when he is licking something in the elevator and his thought thingy is saying lick, lick, lick…lol. So funny. Anyway, it is so hard to believe how fast they grow up. I always thought my mom was crazy saying how fast time flies but it really does. Wow. Blaze will be 3 in August. Man, that is crazy.

I am feeling the same thing! L is almost 11 months old, learned to crawl last week and is trying to stand today…they grow so fast.

Swollen ankles are a small price to pay when it’s all said and done, eh. Nice reflection!

Now that’s one great way to make swollen ankles a happy memory! My son and I loved Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Well, I loved it because it was a major milestone for him….the first time he was able to get through a movie in the theater! :> Now, I’m looking forward to sharing the DVD version with our daughter & Hubby to….sounds like a movie night will be coming up! :>

Hello! I found you on TMC, and now following you! Your blog is a lot of fun! Isn’t movie night the best? I also like the jewelry display ideas! I recently purchased one at Urban Outfitters that I like. I need a couple more, so I’ll go check out that website. Have a great day, and come say hi sometime ;)

And you’re freaking me out! I’m waddling around and now worried about how fast the next year will go. Yikes.
