Cicely Mary Barker created some beautiful flower fairies artwork that inspires one to wonder if fairies might be among us. They are still available today & the flower fairies live on. We’ve been looking at the beautiful Flower Fairies website.
My daughter has a love of all things fairies right now. Her older brothers also wonder if they are around us, but they are starting to question more. As what happens with increased age our ability to explore the world of possibility begins to become one of logic versus mystery. But my daughter is still in the land of fairies.
Mamacita has been especially pleased to find she can learn more about the fairies, get activities pages, play games and a host of other free fairy items. All at the Flower Fairies website. For those who have a love flower fairies but aren’t into activities pages anymore there are screensavers & computer wallpaper available. Also, there is a beautiful free download right now of a fairy glossary on the U.S. version of the site.
Do you have a child who loves fairies? How about you, do you have a fairy love?

My daughter LOVES fairies!!! I’ll have to go visit the site with her…she’ll be so excited! Thanks for sharing!
And thank you for stopping by yesterday for my TMC FB day!
I use to love and believe in faries until I was quite old. Wishful thinking most of the time I think. We would go hunting for mushroom circles and other signs of faries living in the woods behind our house, and my Husband still buys me fariy books and things if he spots them.
I still believe in faeries and spent a lot of time with my children walking in the woods, taking photos of faeries
mushroom circles and telling my children magical stories!
It is wonderful to believe in something so beautiful!

My girls were never into fairies, but I think they are super cute.
I love fairies, and since they’re around the house, the boys love them too. I tried having a fairy visit during the night before the spring equinox, but they weren’t too impressed. Dang.
These are the fairies of my own childhood. They lived in my grandmother’s cottage garden in upstate New York and my mother’s beachside garden in Connecticut. My beloved Auntie Godmother gave me these books that I still treasure and share with my daughter. I also have 2 framed prints in my upstairs hallway that I simply adore.
