Some days I get so caught up in the day to day. The laundry, the dishes, the endless separating of children from each other (HE’S LOOKING AT ME!!) & the tripping over things that I forget to take in the moments.
Then I see a chubby smiling face.
A Lego ship and adventure underway.
A reader who is so excited to learn right now that he will read anything, including a catalog.
A little girl who is hiding under her blanket with giggles that never stop.
The man who I walk with everyday in this journey of life with, his smile at watching the chubby smiley face, the Lego Adventure, the reader, and the giggly girl.
And you know what?
I’m filled with joy.
It’s days like these that make it worth while & these days are every day. Even with all the laundry, dishes, little spats and tripping over things. These moments are happening. And I am grateful.

This is sooo sweet.
These are moments worth waking up for and looking forward to one’s day. =)
Our seven year old has become a reader, and is also devouring everything she can get her hands on. It just warms my little reading heart. Lovely moments shared Beth.

So sweet…
I can feel your joy in your post, and it has caused my to feel joy. Thank you for the reminder. Happiness does not happen because of big, huge events. It happens in the small moments and contentness.
Aww..some days it’s the little things that make us the happiest!
I had a day like that today. My husband and I are both sick and tired, the house is a mess, but our daughter is healthy and we were all together.
The best purest kind of joy! My favorite kind of joy! Thanks for stopping by on my SITS Day.
