Window Shopping on Main Street

We couldn’t resist doing some window shopping after the Memorial Day Parade.  The parade was held on Main Street.  I know how totally small town in the middle of suburbia.  We don’t give up our Detroit style or pride though.  We hold it tight.

While we were peaking around Hubby saw this shirt and wants to go back to get it because it has the word Bohemian on it.  His Grandpa (Mother’s Dad) was Bohemian.  I had no idea what Bohemian was until I met him, I swear I thought it was a fashion style.  Stop laughing, I did. How was I supposed to know it was in the modern day Czech Republic?

And then I thought maybe these shoes would work for teaching or chasing after the kids at the park.  What do you think?  Maybe a little much, eh?

I love window shopping.  When I saw this sign I was taken back to being a kid.  I remember hearing my parents say the phrase above to me as a kid.  But it was along the lines of “Beth you break, you buy it.  This ain’t the bank of Mom & Dad.”

Do you window shop when walking around?

I think the red shoes would be perfect for baking. They would dress up any apron.

I’m definitely a window shopper…I can make a quick trip last 2 hours while I shop the window displays.

Love the sign! There’s one in a shoppe here that says, “Unattended children will be given a shot of espresso and a free puppy.” :)

Wow those are some wicked shoes! I love that poster too, my parents ALWAYS told me that too, luckily I never did break anything while I was a kid, as an adult though, that is another story!
