Monster Cupcakes

by beth on August 1, 2012

Not only did we have an Elmo cake for baby girl’s first birthday but I also made cupcakes. Monster cupcakes. Because a party ain’t a party without a little monster fun added to the mix!

I used buttercream frosting, a #12 round decorating tip to pipe on the hair, candy eyes {we used the same eyes on our Perry the Platypus cupcakes for Mr. G} and silicone silly feet cupcake liners. Unfortunately the silly feet are no longer for sale but I think you could make the same idea with other bright colored cupcake liners. You could also change up the frosting colors with a little food coloring. Make your monsters a colorful mix.

I think the little guys turned out very cute and were super easy to make. And the kids had a blast making them talk to each other & walk around.
