D-man is still in love with his Alphie robot. He even wants to take him to bed and cuddle. Like I have said before it’s better D-man learn to take orders from robots while he is still young given soon robots will be our overlords.

It is 6 degrees out. It feels colder. Much colder. I am trying to warm myself from the inside out. But as I freeze I cannot help but wonder: “When does summer come again?” Not soon enough, not soon enough.

Nissan Motor Co. has come up with a product that is almost cool for words, a self-healing iPhone case {pictured above & below, from Nissan}. As a recent iPhone & iPad convert I am highly intrigued. As someone who may not be as gentle as I should with said items I am probably more than intrigued but also an ideal candidate for such a product.
Check out more about this nifty case here in recent Washington Post article on it.
Very cool indeed!

As mothers we do so much, even in the little things.
That reality of just how much we do and the how no task is without importance is one of the reasons I love this painting of the Polish Madonna and Christ child.
It also reminds me that while my life may not be perfect I am helping to guide my children through life and performing works of mercy everyday as a mother.
When they are thirsty I give them drink. When they are hungry I give them food. When they are in need of comfort or counsel I hold, guide and love them. Even in the midst of the day to day aspects of life between the educating and the laundry, the running around and the quiet moments, that holiness is being cultivated, faith is multiplied and love is never divided.
