I think if you have someone you love who enjoys the quick and often eviscerating wit of Anthony Bourdain, chef, writer & host of No Reservations on The Travel Channel, then his new book Medium Raw: A Bloody Valentine to the World of Food and the People Who Cook would be a good pick for this Father’s Day as a gift. I know my husband has hinted, by hint I mean he has said it out right, that he would enjoy a copy for Father’s Day.

Reading:
About a 72 year old woman who wants to use IVF to become the world’s oldest mother. The other day I said nothing surprises me anymore, well today I’m eating crow.

Listening:

Elliott Smith. If you don’t know who he is & was, I suggest checking his music out.

This is Pitseleh:

Watching:

The new season of Anthony Bourdain’s Travel Channel Show No Reservations. Hubby got me hooked over the last few years.   I’m now looking forward to Monday night’s travel to Australia.  Perhaps he will try vegemite sandwich, since he will be in the land down under where beer does flow & men chunder. (I apologize for the blatant Men At Work reference, but in my head I picture him saying that line with amused disdain as if that’s all Australia has to offer & can’t help but smile to myself).
