He has been wanting to use a spoon at a lot of meals lately. However, we may need to work a little bit with him on this one. Since he insists on trying to eat with the handle. Granted any attempt to switch the spoon around results in a pterodactyl screech that sends shivers done your spine. Of course once he has his spoon back in his hand, upside down, he is all smiles & laughs. Personally I prefer smiles & laughter to the prehistoric attack of the pterodactyl screech.

When I was very young I wanted to wear glasses. I thought it was “cool” to have a pair. I have no idea why. Because now that my glasses are the first thing I grab in the morning & the last thing I take off at night I’m not sure I want them EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE!!
I use to wear contacts more, but when I was in my last trimester with Mr. J my eyes got so dry that I couldn’t stand wearing them. With breastfeeding, lack of sleep and the subsequent years of pregnancies, breastfeeding and lack of sleep I have not been able to wear them.
But sometimes I pretend to not have them.

Note the glasses are on my head because right after taking this picture I had to put them back on.
Or I might have mistaken a wall for Hubby & kissed it.
Which would have been embarrassing because let’s be honest I’m SO outta the wall’s league.
Really I would have been kissing down. Given it is a wall & all.

At the end of the day there are many little displays and leftover remnants of the children’s play that I find around the house. The other night after all the kids were sound asleep in their beds (THANK YOU ALMIGHTY HEAVENS!!). I found two knights perched on the second shelf of our coffee table. Stopped in the middle of their battle of good versus evil stopped silent by the call for bedtime. Knights frozen in time.
